This first one shows you the cool web part - see? It's the same for both feet - the 2nd & 3rd toes are partially webbed. As a kid I was pretty self-conscious about it. I distinctly remember my grandmother teasing me about 'cutting' them apart - that caused me a whole lot of stress. Little kids hear and feel your words. Watch what you say.
This next picture reveals my entire left foot. It is a glorious site to behold. See the nasty black spot on my big toenail? Nope, that's not from running hard miles. A couple of weeks ago my boss dropped a hard drive on my foot. His first words were, "I hope you're not training for anything right now".

That is so funny! Mine are on my right foot. (Grandma, Dad & Me have the toes) Good to see it doesn't just run in my family.
Just found your blog, look forward to reading more.
Dude...time for a pedicure.
Thats SO cool! I don't have webbed toes but I some good length hair on my toes.
cheers.
Whoa, I never saw anything like that but I am secretly obsessed with feet. Thanks for sharing!
That's cool - I've never seen toes like yours. I notice your big toe takes a distinctive bend inward - what's up with that?
I must be a runner, because the first thing I noticed was the toe nail.
You give good advice---Kids do hear and feel our words. The older generation didn't quite get that, did they?
So, I guess toe socks are out, huh? :-)
You are a good writer---I really liked your post "Former Glory."
It's kind of like "Peace Out Man" with your toes! You are indeed a freak of nature. Your feet should be donated to the Smithsonian Museum or the Canadian equivalent for display after you perish.
This is hilarious! I just started to read your blog and saw this exact post where you were menionning the web foot... and kept thinking if you were going to post pics... Well thanks! I've never seen that before! Freak of nature ;-) j/k

It probably says something about my need to get a life that I'm home on a Friday night entertaining myself with pictures of your feet.
Oh, I should respond. Such an outpouring of fab comments. Thank you so much.
runnergirl - Both my feet are the same with the webbed effect. Some might suggest I have two left feet. Don't believe them.
MamaS - I only have so much time. I trimmed them in August :/
Brad - you and I like big hairy toes...
run for choc - I'm pleased that you're pleased.
BOP - both big toes bend inwards like that. My kids' do too. Genetics I suppose or from cramming my size 15 monsters into size 13 shoes.
justrun - yeah, you know what to look for. I'm a runner like you.
runnermom - nope to the toe socks I guess unless my mother in law will custom knit a pair.
jtac - I'm a freak. You know it.
sonia - I try to keep my goofy promises. I'm glad you like this blog. Thanks for telling me twice : )
Craig - you said it, not me. I remember seeing your toes in a post once...
I love it..."cool web part" you call it. Heh. You could call yourself "Legs, wings and webbed toes"
So...I was eating a carrot when I opened this post. Even though I should have been prepared because the title did in fact indicate pictures of webbed toes were forthcoming...I spit carrot out my mouth (almost out my nose) when the pictures appeared. LOL! Not sure why it was such a suprise. I've seen webbed toes before. They run in my family, too. Maybe it was the big inward turning toe that took my by surprise! lol
Holy-Toe-Moly! The black on your big toe caught my eye! My big toes use to look like that and I know they will again! Good for you for letting us see your webbed toes!
I also have the same toes.
