Fresh Paint
It's not completely finished but I thought I'd post one photo for you. V and I started painting the house back in May and we're just wrapping it up. What a bunch of work. The stories I could tell...of hornets and wasps, ants, rot and repair.
Too bad it'll soon be too cold to sit out and enjoy the view of the river.

It looks great. I'm glad that we got to see it in person. Maybe if we stayed in town longer, we could have helped you out with some painting.

Can't wait to see the whole thing. Pamela has always wanted a porch. A lot of sweat equity goes into a project like that. I bet it will feel good to stand back once your done and admire you handiwork.

Oh, looks like a photo right out of a home decor magazine. I can just picture you guys relaxing on that porch with a mug of something steaming. (By the way, you might see some familiar scenes on my blog this week.)
Love the combination of colors in the photo. I have vowed never to paint another house. I may change my mind in the future if we ever found our dream home.
