Bumps In The Road

I do not dare reveal too much detail. I should be leaving for New York City this afternoon but I am not. Truth is, I’m just too important at work to be afforded the time. I may sound bitter but I’m not so much anymore. I am through the initial stage of anger and disappointment – my pot having quietly boiled over. I have some peace.

The worst part is that I feel I have let my buddies down. I’m sure I have. Thankfully, David can step in and cover for me. I’ll miss you boys. You know I’d rather be with you. Every thing happens for a reason. I'll work it out during a long run.

Sending out a huge cyber hug to ya, Robb...(and glad my video helped).

Oh yeah - and the photo you posted? I think I know that section of road all too well.

Take care.

That's a bummer about NY. Dang. Get that long run in soon, so you can find your equilibrium again...

And, who you callin' stubborn?

I'm so sorry you couldn't go on the trip. I know how much you were looking forward to it. On the upside, if you're that busy at work, you don't have to worry about being laid off like a lot of us in the USA.

Another opportunity will come soon enough. Hang in there.

Let me distract you. I've tagged you. :-)

Aw, man. Bummer about NYC.

Wait patiently my friend. There is a greater plan out there and sometimes we have to work to figure it out.

I didn't cover for you brother. I can't fill those giant shoes. I did the best I could on the drums but it was missing that Cusack factor no doubt there. I didn't feel that you let us down, that only happens when you yourself are in control and decide not to do something. This was out of your hands. You would have come to NYC if you could. Next time buddy, next time.
